If at first you do succeed...

"If at first you do succeed, try not to look astonished"

I don't know who wrote that particular quote, ironically I saw it chalked on a board outside a now defunct coffee shop in King St, Perth Western Australia, I even have a photograph somewhere!

But it's true though isn't it - we assume we are going to have to "try, try, try again" before we achieve our goals, we are almost always gearing ourselves up for failure. Well then can you imagine what our success rate be if we assumed we could and would succeed the first time around, no matter what we set our minds to?

  • We plan our goals,
  • We know what steps we need to take
  • We practice, we refine, we practice again
  • We work on our goals every day, and
  • We achieve many small things each day that over time builds on our other successes which will eventually lead us to
  • OUR GOALS

Sounds a lot like the 100 day challenge doesn't it.

Never assume you are going to have to try, try, try again and again and again to get to where you want to go.

With many thoughts
