To succeed: Examine the state of your enthusiasm

'If you are not getting as much from life as you want to,
then examine the state of your enthusiasm"
Norman Vincent Peale

If you live your life with passion, excitement and enthusiasm I feel you can do anything and everything you set your mind too.

Think about it - when did you ever achieve a goal you weren't excited about?

"I've got to get up the enthusiasm to work on this darn goal of losing 20lbs by Christmas"

Err, how far do you think you'll get with that kind of "enthusiastic" emotion to something?

But every day people do have that kind of attitude to their goals. And you know why? Because the goals aren't exciting enough in themselves.

If your goals start with words such as

Give up or stop doing something - you are coming from a negative point of view and you are NEVER going to excited about a negative. Turn your statements into positives and you will be able to achieve far more - and that I can guarantee.

With many thoughts
Elle

p.s. Happy Valentine's day to you all. I hope you enjoyed time with your loved ones today.
