Tackling the grind

Sometimes it may seem like nothing is going right. Sometimes it may seem like life is a grind.

Well - sometimes it is and sometimes it is a state of mind

The question is - are you willing to to deal with it and move on, or do you prefer to complain?

I've had MAJOR problems with email this week, for some reason the email account I've had for 14 years has decided to start playing up, deleting messages, not delivering them - you name it I've had the problem this week - it's frustrating, but you deal with it the best you can. I know I should have received some messages - I didn't so I contacted them instead. Could you please re-send. Thanks.

My daughter started full time further education this week - her timetable keeps being changed - she hasn't yet learned the art of dealing with it .... hopefully by the end of the week she will have.

My son dislikes the place he works - and for one reason - they keep him beyond his allotted hours (and legally the company is going to be in trouble if I get involved - but I don't want to make life difficult for him) - he too hasn't learned the art of dealing with it....

So - I've had to impart some hard lessons to my kids over the last couple of days

Life isn't fair sometimes, sometimes life IS a grind - but it depends on your state of mind as to how you deal with it - OR NOT as the case may be.

If you have deliberately put off doing something because you are afraid of what the outcome will be, then you will not be able to deal with it effectively. The problem will continue to manifest itself and you will continue to replay the problem. And usually it will get worse and worse.

You see the ones who are able to deal with it, make a decision, get organised rather than angry are the ones who can move on.

Are you able to tackle the grind?

With many thoughts
Elle
