How can I help you?
A simple question today but one that needs to be asked
How are you doing? Is there anything I can do to help you at this moment?
I spend so much time telling you about the strategies I use to overcome procrastination, when I know that not everything that works for me, will work for you, or if it works for you it may not work for your teenage kids or employees.
We can all get caught up thinking, well this works - if you do this, this and this in this order - it will work for you too. Well it might, but then again it might not. That's why there are so many "self-help" books on the market (IMO). Everyone has their own way of making things work - all I can hope to do is provide strategies, suggestions and tools you can translate into your own lives. I know that some will work and some won't today - but they may tomorrow - all I ask is you keep an open mind and try them.
But one thing I do know for certain is this - the best way to overcome the procrastination habit is quite a simple mind trick you can use.
Tell yourself you can procrastinate tomorrow.

Motivational Tip: Weight Loss - Portion Sizes
---------------------------
Are your portion sizes out of control? Don’t know what constitutes a correct portion size anymore?
If you still cook and eat at home (and I know there are a lot of people who don’t – but more of “eating out” in another segment), then you need to do one or two things to get your portion sizes back under control.
The first is the perhaps the easiest – reduce the size of the plate you use. Now that doesn’t mean you get to pile the plate higher, just adjust the amounts so it looks like the plate is as full as the old one used to be.
The second is to get out the scales and the measuring cups. According to every book and website I have read on the subject is this – your protein serve should be no bigger than the size (including the depth) of your palm. A single portion of carbs is about the size of a tennis ball. Cheese – should be no more than the size of 6 dice or a box of matches – which is interesting don’t you think. But don’t take my word for it – For example - http://www.mealsmatter.org/EatingForHealth/Topics/Healthy-Living-Articles/Portion-Sizes.aspx
So adjust your portion sizes and you should see a reduction in your body size as well, granted it may take a while especially if you have a bit of weight to lose, but every decision helps - and portion sizes is a good way to start.
