Wandering down life's backstreets
It was foggy this morning when I went for my walk, I could barely see the end of the road, so it was a good job I knew the way, which made me think .....
To see the future clearly, not only do you need to see it, you need to have vision.
Without vision you will wander down blind alleys because you don't know where you are going and you haven't thought through your options.
Whilst you can as Jack Canfield says drive from New York to LA in the middle of the night and get there just by seeing the next 100m or so, you do need to know - not just where you are going - but understand the directions as well - otherwise you'll end up in Cleveland. You may have had your eyes open, but you didn't have "vision" you didn't really "see" what was going on around you.
- Are you looking but not seeing?
- Do you have a clear vision of where you want to be?
- Do you have your goals mapped out like a road trip?
- Do you like taking detours away from your success?
Take any of your goals, and today - break it down - what can you do now - today to get you through the "next 100 meters"
If you don't know that first step believe me you will have trouble reaching your goal.
What can that one step be?
- Calling the bank to make an appointment
- Looking at real-estate for the location of your shop
- Looking at good website designs for your online business
- Booking on to a course
- Going for a walk
Each step may only be short, but as we all know - every minute decision added together makes a massive difference.
