Goals should be exciting, they should pull us out of bed in a morning and refuse to let us go to bed at night.

So - on a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your goals?

Motivate Me to Exercise: Train with others

Do you struggle with motivating yourself to exercise? Don't worry you are not alone, but there are ways to get around the problem.

  • Group training - book yourself onto a course, pay for it up front and you are more likely to turn up. Ditto with
  • Dance classes - dance is a great exercise, and all the rage at the moment is Zumba - grab a couple of mates and laugh your way to fitness.
  • Partners and kids - do they need as much exercise as you do? Then why not grab a ball and head for the park, or get out the bikes - or whatever. Pack a picnic and a frisbee and head for the beach. I know it's cooling down in the Northern Hemisphere - so now is a perfect opportunity to get outside and get fit in time for the shorts season next summer.
  • Find someone to walk with - make a walking date and keep it, You won't want to let them down and vice versa
