Today's daily dose: 9th September 2010
---------------------------
Just to let you know, I am taking some time off - yes I am going on holiday. Why?
Well - because I can - AND ...
Well the 13th September is my birthday and my gift to you - is time off from me and the Daily Dose of Motivational Medicine. Now don't panic there will be the odd message coming to you (assuming the internet connection works in the Kalbarri gorges) but they will be more sporadic than I would normally like. But the beauty of giving you time off from my constant nagging (err I mean motivation) is you get to put into practice all those hints, tips and ideas I have been bombarding you with.
As a second note: On the 20th September 2010 I will be sending out the first of the weekly 100 day challenge emails. Yes we are just over 1 week away from the last 100 days of the year - and the emails will be sent to challenge you to use the last 100 days of the year to steam ahead with achieving your goals, but perhaps more importantly - setting the patterns of behavior you will need to succeed with your personal challenges.
I wish you a weekend of completed goals and many dreams come true, and I will speak to you - soon (ish) I hope

Motivate Me to Exercise: 3. Train where others train - their stories can inspire you to achieve more
---------------------------
If you train where others train you can be inspired to push yourself just that little bit harder than if you trained on your own. Now this can work hand in hand with the last note - train with others, but can equally work on its own - as you know I use both "techniques" to motivate me to exercise. Where do people exercise where you are? There are many different training areas around me and I have mentioned many of them over the last few months. I can find people running the coastal path, doing strength training on the beach, running hills and climbing the hundreds of steps of Jacob's Ladder. But I am always curious to know "what are you training for" and the stories are truly amazing. Get inspired by others to work just that little bit longer. Once you commit to bettering your own personal bests - you will achieve amazing things yourself - of that I know.
