Your personal dead line

How can dying be motivational you may ask?

Well I have a couple of questions that might answer that question for you:

  • How do you want to be remembered?
  • What would it say on your headstone?
  • How many people would turn up to your funeral?
  • If you had chance to listen to the speeches, the memories and the stories of those people who did come to see you off, what would they say?
  • How many lives have you touched so far or will touch every day between now and your own personal dead line? Given that we don't know when that will be - we may be forgiven for thinking we have all the time in the world to make our mark - but as we all know, accidents and incidents occur all the time over which we have no control - so ...

If you were lying there, waiting for the end - what would you be thinking?

Would you be worrying about the stock market, the price of vegetables this week. Or would you worry about how many holidays you missed "because you were busy", your kids growing up, why you couldn't find time to be with your partner, your family, your kids and grandkids. Would you regret not writing that book, taking those photographs, drawing those pictures and crossing everything off your bucket list?

We're very lucky because tomorrow we get another chance to make a difference. Are you going to take it?

With many thoughts

Elle
