Today's daily dose: 2nd November 2011
---------------------------
Today I would like you to create a headline of your future.
Then I want you to write the story behind the headline ...
What would your story say?
Would it be a rags to riches story, or a story of overcoming unsurmountable odds to achieve something amazing. Or would it be, A grade student drops out of high school and becomes a drug dealer to feed drug habit ... as always the choice is ours to make.
Elle
p.s. if you want to get really creative, choose a magazine you read and gain inspiration from, and create a mockup of "your" cover. Whenever you need inspiration (when you are feeling down and unmotivated) take a good look at the cover and read your story. It should make for compelling reading. And if it doesn't then you need to change your story so it does.

100 day challenge update: A challengers update
---------------------------
I received this very wonderful message from one of the birthday challengers. Remember, one of the people who received a copy of the 100 day challenge, if they could give me a good reason why they needed a copy. Well I will leave the rest of this message to my challenger. Excellent - and keep up the good work.
I am doing well on the 100 day challenge. My main goal is to lose weight and so far in these first 40 days I have managed to introduce the following into my daily routine:
- toning exercises in the morning
- an early am and late pm time slot for doing one or two tasks
- only checking email twice a day in the time slots above
- putting the dishes away from the draining board before I go to bed (makes such a difference when I come down in the morning!)
- a 20 minute DVD workout 3 times a week
- have lost 5lbs so far
- minimum of 10000 steps per day
I am human and have had some rubbish days (like yesterday with it seeming like computers and housework being against me!!) but overall I am pretty pleased I have achieved this. Still working on tweaking some of my other habits - namely some of the coffee &cake ones, which, by omitting them would speed up my weight loss - but for a serial procrastinator, I think I am doing pretty well!!
So thank you and have a brilliant day!!
