In the beginning was the end
I was just going to use that subject line for the 100 day challenge, but it occurred to me that it is actually perfect for today's topic.
If you don't know where your end point is you won't know:
* Which way you should be going
* Which would be the fastest way
* How far you have travelled on your journey
* Where your marker points are
Or anything else
So when you are beginning / re-starting your personal journeys / challenges check to make sure you do know what your end point is - before you start, otherwise you can't plan properly and any action you take will not be as effective as if everything had been thought through in the beginning.
Of course what you think is your current end point may turn out to be just another stepping stone to further success, but how will you know if you don't know?
With many thoughts

100 day challenge:
---------------------------
Day 1 was the 9th February 2011 which makes day 100 May 19th and can you believe it, that's almost halfway through the year. As you know the 100 day challenge helps you to focus on what you need to do on your goals today - so whilst it is good to know what your end point is - remember the main focus is on TODAY. I hope you are working on at least one aspect of your goals today (after all it is the weekend).
Of those who I know are participating we have the following happening:
H.R. Wants a clean office
H.A. Wants to meet and speak to 100 new people to overcome shyness
C.L. would like to be an adult for at least 15 minutes a day to help cope with ADD and attention span of a gnat.
A.T & E.W. Are looking at health related challenges
M.B. Would like to write 100 articles for her webiste
and just to join in the fun
My goal is to achieve 10 items (or have the plans in place / bookings made etc) from my bucket list. So far I have achieved 1, a 2nd I can organise on the 23rd February when tickets to see the Dalai Llama go on sale and I know what the rest are ...
My health / weight loss goals are already up and running and I would like to drop 10% (or better) weight by the end of the 100 days. This is being charted elsewhere so believe me there is no cheating.
Let us know if you are participating or going to participate and you can connect with us all (via me) on Facebook for extra motivation (poking / prodding / cajoling / messages / boots up the wazoo etc)
