Your reputation is at stake
Business relationships are built on trust. They rely on someone doing something in a timely manner - if that doesn't happen the trust is broken and you, the customer, are likely to go elsewhere next time.
We've all been there, we've all been promised the earth and been bitterly disappointed. Phone calls that aren't returned, emails that don't get written, letters that don't get sent and goods that are not sent when they should have been. We write, we complain, we tell our friends and we find an alternative supplier.
So - turn it around - have you promised something to someone and haven't lived up to your promise? Don't you think you should, after all if you are in the business of being in business - and therefore making money, your reputation is at stake.
And this is not just about business dealings, but everything if you stop and think about it.
* Are you known as a gossip? Have people stopped telling you things because you can't keep a secret?
* Do you fail to hand in your homework?
* Have you promised to help your parents with the housework and then "forgot"
* Have you promised a friend you would help them out and then conveniently found you had something else to do on that day - and didn't tell them?
* And what have you promised yourself recently and then failed to follow through with?
Your reputation is at stake - make 2011 the year you don't let yourself down
Kind Regards
Elle
