Strength of faith

Faith - you believe without question there is a higher power. The strength of that faith may be dependent on your culture and / or the way that you were raised. The question is - do you have the same kind of faith (without question) about your own skills and abilities? Do you believe that you can do something? Do you believe so strongly that if you do everything in your power, you will achieve whatever is your heart's desire. When we look at goal setting and perhaps more importantly goal achievement, and no they are not one and the same thing.

Do you have unquestionable faith that once you set your mind that you are going to do it - no matter what gets in the way, you will find a way around it? Because unless you have that kind of faith - then your goals and dreams will remain on your piece of paper. And if that's the case then it doesn't matter what random collection of words you use, they have the same effect on you and what you are willing to do.

As today is Sunday, here is a task for you. I need you to reconnect with the faith you have in yourself. And if your faith is a little shaky (you feel you don't have all the skills you think you need to fulfil a particular goal) then I need you to act anyway. One thing I have noticed is that when I choose to work on something, regardless of whether i have all the tools i need to finish it, the normal filtering mechanism we use in our non-conscious thought process, suddenly starts to take notice of what you are trying to do and then tries to help you by providing references, pointing you in the right direction.

As Jack Canfield said in "the secret" - until he asked the question - how could he get his book out to the people who would want to buy it, he didn't "see" the magazine the National Inquirer. It had always been there you understand, he just hadn't seen it. Once he had, the rest as they say was history.

Have faith, things will change if you are willing to believe in yourself.
