Consistency and persistency
A couple of days ago we spoke about the importance of treating customers with respect and in the same consistent manner.
Today I would like to speak to you about consistency with your other actions.
Consistency that says, I will eat well today. I know I ate well yesterday, and the day before that. But I also know that if I fail to eat well today, then tomorrow I might be tempted to eat that bar of chocolate or drink that extra glass of wine even though I don't need it. I know that if I am consistent with my eating habits I will gradually lose the excess kilos and re-gain my youthful figure.
Consistency means that you will exercise 3 or 4 times a week.
Where persistency kicks in, is where you really don't want to exercise today. You don't want to, you don't feel up to it. You can't be bothered. Persisting past the boredom, persisting past the repetition, persisting past those times when you just want to go home and eat your way through the entire house.
Being consistant means doing what you say when you say you are going to do it, every time, without fail.
Don't compromise on your integrity with inactivity.
With Many thoughts,
