Does your plan lack focus?
If you find yourself constantly distracted by other things (we call this the magpie tendency), then your plan lacks focus.
Imagine that you need to use reading glasses, and you forget to put them on, so you have to squint. What you think you are looking at - may be
what you think you need to work on, and to focus on, but - without your reading glasses, you really can't be sure.
What happens then is quite interesting. Because you can't "see" what you are supposed to be looking at, and working on, you will tend to get
distracted by other things.
Goals are like that. Because most of the time we cannot "see" what we are supposed to be working on. Because we don't have our "glasses" on to
give us focus, we get distracted.
So how do you put your metaphorical glasses on?
Well you need to go back to the reasons "why" you want something. Once you know "why" you will be able to focus. And once you can "see" it,
you know you can achieve it.
