Give yourself credit

You have achieved so much already, isn't it time you gave yourself the credit you actually deserve?

I would like you to do 4 simple things today (and every day for that matter):

1. stop comparing yourself to others. You have your own sets of goals, dreams and disciplines. Make them work for you.
2. If you fall down in some way, remember you have the next moment to pick yourself up and start again. You don't have to wait until tomorrow or next week. Now is always the best time.
3. Remember why you wanted something. The biggest drivers we have are our own WHY's. Remember the WHY and you will re-discover your motivation.
4. Write down all the things you've achieved today - getting up on time, eating a healthy breakfast, starting work on time, getting to work safely, doing your homework, exercising or whatever it happens to be, and tomorrow i would like you to add to your list - it doesn't have to be anywhere "special" just somewhere you will see it and use it.

Why is this important?

When you focus on what you have done, you will want to do more. When you remember the good things, you will be less likely to dwell on the bad. When you focus on doing more and achieving more, you will do so far more easily than if you sighed and told yourself that you've "got" to do something.
