Simplify your life

We are constantly surrounded by clutter either metaphorically speaking or in our physical environment.

As i write this, my daughter is typing on MSN and half listening to the evening soaps. My son has a friend over and they are arguing the merits of skateboard tricks. And if I dare to look around, I will find shoes and bags and a whole host of "stuff". But if I dare to look deeper I will find things stuck in cupboards that have never been used, books that have never been read and clothes that have never been worn.

How about you? Are you surrounded by "stuff". What can you clean out of your life to make things simpler? I'm in the process of re-decorating my house, and in doing so I am finally clearing out the last of the "stuff" I really don't use or need. And once I've done that I won't have any more excuses as to why I can't get on with the BIG goals I have set for myself.

How about you, are you willing to clean out the clutter so that you can get on with the really important things in your life? Hope so.

Clutter is a constant problem for me. My resolution has been to attack it little by little. Having to face an entire kitchen, house, or car to clean is overwhelming. So I have a simple attack - when I leave, I'll leave this place in better condition that when I got here. So when I get out of my car, I grab something that I don't need and put it away or throw it away. Little by little, the clutter disappears - and it's pretty easy to maintain with that simple trick.
