Take a leap of faith

"Whenever you see a successful business, someone once made a courageous decision."
Peter Drucker

They made the decision that they were going to live their dreams. They knew what they wanted to achieve and nothing and no-one was going to get in their way. Yes they probably had their share of doubt when things didn't go quite as planned, because in most cases we are reliant on other people to help us out. And sometimes we can choose the wrong people to help us.

By that I mean - say for example you need some stationery printing. You know what you want, but unless you own a printing press that will create
professional print material, and you also happen to be a damn good graphic designer, you are going to be reliant on the company you choose to help you. The problem is of course, they work to their own schedule and not yours. They too have their agenda's and problems - just like you.

So it can take nerves of steel and a great deal of negotiation and patience to get your business up and running. The difference between the ones who make it and the ones who falter at the first sign that the printer is not going to deliver on his/her promises -
and when that happens, sometimes we may be tempted to say - this is just not going to work, so I might as well give up now....are the ones who don't. They are the ones who say - I can only do what I can do, I can persuade other people to do their bit to the best of their ability but I shall only worry about my own part of the task. And if I've chosen the wrong printer, well I shall go and find another one.

Successful people look to themselves and decide whether or not they are willing to take a leap of faith. And when they have made those decisions, they jump in with both feet.

Are you willing to take a leap of faith, and believe in the beauty of your dreams?
