Television - Inspiration for life?

You can turn off the TV set but you can't turn off television's influence."
Dennis Waitley

Who are your role models?
Who do you turn to for inspiration, advice, and the mental food that keeps you alive with vibrant creativity?

Are you struggling to answer those two questions?

Every day we are bombarded with so many different stimuli, each competing for our time, energy, patience and in some cases money. Is it any wonder it is hard to feel inspired, hard to keep the creative juices flowing that may ultimately see us find the solution to our many problems?

But if you are always filling your mind with "problems" then you will find it hard to find a solution within the chaos that is your mind. Now you may turn around and say that you don't deliberately set out to fill your mind with problems. And I'm not saying that you do. But you may be feeding your mind in a non-conscious way, through watching the millions of television programmes that cover murder and mayhem that is reported and filmed in our societies. So, today all i would ask is that you limit your television watching for a little while and see if that makes a difference to the way that you feel.

And where do you find people you admire? Well there are lots of free books on the Internet that you can read and download. Go to the links page on http://www.motivateme.info/links and you will find a couple of resources that you may not have heard of. You may not be able to meet some of these people in person, but you can read their stories, their thoughts and their solutions.
