100 day challenge to lose weight: Day 10 - losing size

Day 10 (Wednesday 26th May)

I actually felt "smaller" - was it an illusion?

When I am tracking my progress I like to use more than one measurement. The weight on the scale is OK, but when it doesn't look like there is much movement, it can be a little discouraging. So I use 2 additional measures. My clothes and a tape measure.

Conviced that the extra exercise would be making itself known in the bid to lose size as well as weight I pulled out the tape measure. Sure enough I had taken off 2cm off my waistline. This was corroborated by trying on and fitting into a skirt I've not been able to wear for a while.

If you've ever been discouraged by using a set of bathroom scales - then why not try taking other measurements and using those as well. I find they are a great boost to my goal especially when you can see progress in a lot of different areas.
