Weight loss / results so far

I promised you some updates on my weight loss journey

So far I have lost 4 kilos. That's not a huge amount given I would like to lose another 20, but the difference this time is that I am not looking for a quick fix, but a way of life.

  • So - every meal is carefully considered - After 2 weeks of slowly reducing my calorie intake, I am now removing a good proportion of the carbohydrates as well.
  • I take all my snacks / meals into work
  • I drink gallons of water - well somewhere in the region of 2 - 4 litres every day
  • I walk every day, sometimes more than once, and have come to enjoy running again.
  • I manage 2 - 4 sessions of weights every week.
  • I take a good multi-vitamin as well as Vitamin D
  • I can see a difference in my upper half - my jaw line is more defined and I can feel / see my scapula. I've also noticed I've dropped a bit of size off my boobs - thank the heavens for that...
  • I recognise that hunger is just another feeling and I can keep it at bay with small meals taken at a regular interval, drinking water and lots of it - AND keeping busy.
